The Senior Manager of Regulatory Affairs role requires a candidate who will collaborate with multiple corporate functions (product development, marketing, creative department, operations, etc.) to ensure delivery of product and brand initiatives on time. Simultaneously, the candidate will be responsible of defining, maintaining, and further developing the global regulatory processes and systems. Must have experience dealing with the US, EU, Canada, AESEAN, and China market.

Regulatory Compliance & Global Registration
- Oversee global product registration processes to ensure compliance and timely approvals for each market, aligning with launch deadlines.
- Stay ahead of evolving regulatory requirements, proactively implementing changes to maintain compliance across all regions.
Claims, Testing & Product Development Support
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product Development to align on globally compliant claims and product positioning.
- Develop testing protocols, negotiate vendor costs, and oversee clinical and consumer studies to substantiate claims for product launches.
- Finalize consumer-facing claims in partnership with regulatory counsel before organizational release.
Regulatory Strategy & Operations
- Develop and implement regulatory strategies, SOPs, and best practices to streamline compliance processes.
- Manage the regulatory budget, including testing, claims validation, international registration fees, and corporate brand spend.
- Organize and oversee product safety testing (micro, stability, compatibility) and flag risks associated with accelerated launch timelines.
Labeling & Technical Compliance
- Ensure regulatory labeling compliance, verifying claims on artwork (e.g., naturally derived percentages, INCI lists, caution statements, and third-party certifications).
- Oversee technical documentation and product dossiers in collaboration with regulatory agencies.
Regulatory Advocacy & Cross-Functional Support
- Serve as the regulatory liaison, providing guidance on legislative updates and industry trends.
- Offer customer service support for all regulatory-related inquiries.

- Bachelor's degree in Regulatory Affairs, Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of regulatory experience in the beauty, personal care, or cosmetic industry.
- Expertise in global regulatory compliance, product registration, and claims substantiation.
- Strong understanding of labeling regulations, product safety testing, clinical testing
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive regulatory strategy.
- Experience working with regulatory agencies and industry groups preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
Benefits:
- The estimated salary range for this position is $110,000 to $125,000.
- The New York corporate office is hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days work from home).
