Position Summary: The Dual Shop Manager for NoMad + NoLita is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of their assigned stores while maintaining focus on their store sales goals. In addition to ensuring their teams are providing excellent customer sales support, the Dual Shop Manager will be responsible for the store’s inventory, marketing, and building the store’s client base, as well as choreographing the daily activities of a team of retail specialists. They have entrepreneurial ownership of their two stores and make choices which benefit their stores in a successful direction.

Sales + Customer Service
- Excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills - embodying brand values and leading from the front.
- Personally flexible with scheduling and available to work retail hours as the first port of call. Effective planning + scheduling the store rosters according to the needs of the business and agreed staffing budgets.
- Ensure that you are scheduled appropriately at each store to match fluctuating business needs.
- Working with the Training and Education Manager to identify training needs and cascade information + policies to all team members.
- Fielding and responding to team questions on customer approach.
- Motivate and support the sales associates to help the store achieve sales goals.
- Reinforce store protocol with emphasis on customer service.
- Report observations on in-store trends, business opportunities, customer profile, and training opportunities for the store team; develop opinions on how best to drive the business forward.
- Run your business with agility, changing direction and continuously improving based on key indicators and lessons learned.
- Ensure open positions are filled in a timely manner.
- Maintain low turnover by creating a culture that encompasses our company values. Actively provide coaching and direction to their teams to empower them to achieve their KPI’s through multiple avenues; in the moment, one-on-one touch bases, team meetings, and management meetings.
- Ensures consistent enforcement of our people policies and ensures accurate and timely processing of employee paperwork and payroll.
- Fielding and responding to team questions on company policies.
- Cultivate relationships within the neighborhood for cross-promotional, marketing, and potential amenity opportunities.
- Review and execute merchandising directives, visual displays, and other in-store activations supporting promotional events or holiday shopping occasions.
- Proactively identifies opportunities, creates action plans and seeks opportunities to grow their location business and increase repeat customer business.
- Ensure availability of merchandise and inventory to support sales goals.
- Ensure that inventory is accurate at all times and controls are in place to properly capture all inventory moves.
- Perform inventory counts to coordinate orders for stock with the support office in a responsible and timely manner, this includes third party items, brands.
- Ensure the entire store is clean, shop ready and open for business at the appropriate time.
- Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean environment.
- Manage the cash register bank to assure proper mix of cash and change.
- Manage weekly bank deposits and transportation of cash from register to safe to deposit.
- Communicate in a timely manner with the Director of Retail Sales when issues arise which may hamper store operations.

Education/Experience:
- Strong experience and aptitude with Point-of-Sale (POS) computer systems.
- Minimum 4 years of management experience in a retail environment required, preferably in the beauty industry.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Must have flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- The estimated salary range for this position is $70,000.
